Chicago 8/12/99
So great, we are driving to Chicago right, and there are all these awful towns that we passed along the way, for example Gary, Indiana (fire in the hole). We got to Chicago just in time for the rain though, so I guess it all worked out. We were able to check out the Sears Towers and eat some good pizza. However, Kathy came through big time. She called a friend of hers, Jeff Meyer, and he showed us the more beautiful parts of Chicago, and best of all showed us these painted bulls that were all over the city. All in all, even though the day didn't start out the best, it turned out to be great. Glad we made the journey. :o)

Addendum: Kathy and I wanted wanted to go the Victory Records store. I called victory, the receptionist said,"Sorry, we closed the store. If you want you can stop by the office and hang out for a while". I told her no thanks. She said,"No, really, people do that sometimes. You should stop by. " I said maybe. We decided not to stop by. The end.
